The lawn made copies

Mushroom iNU

Mushroom iNU, a round Shiba Inu wearing a brown mushroom cap

He went out for dew. Nine coworkers clocked in.

The First Ten

At dawn, one round Shiba waddled beneath the old garden cap. By breakfast, ten identical noses were checking the same patch of clover. Nobody remembers the split. Each copy answers to the same whistle, refuses wet kibble, and returns one acorn to the shed before sunset. At supper they form a perfect circle around one bowl. The lawn has stopped asking for a headcount.

Mushroom Manners

Ten bodies, one strict garden shift.

  • Dew Patrol

Arrives before sunrise and checks every clover blade with the same serious nose.

  • Acorn Audit

Sorts the pile by size, then forgets which copy approved the count.

  • Supper Formation

All ten sit at once; one bowl remains a stubborn management problem.
